Thailand

Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations, and it is on practically everyone’s bucket list. From beaches to tropical jungles, the best street cuisine in the world, and much more, this place has it all. Thailand, the Land of Smiles, is a destination that will not disappoint you and is a must-experience vacation. People who have never visited this location before may need to learn more about it and plan their vacation accordingly. This article will go over many unexplored but divine places that you should be aware of while visiting this location.

Few people are aware that this region was once known as the Siam Kingdom before being renamed Thailand. Thai history is divided into three eras. The first, the Dwaravati period from the 6th to 11th centuries, is an ancient Mon kingdom described by the Chinese pilgrim Hsuan-Tsang in the middle of the 7th century. Hinduism and Buddhism were followed here during the time, and Sanskrit was the language used. It was called ‘To-lo-po-ti‘ then.

Sukhothai‘ refers to the second era period from 1248 to 1438 CE. In that era, the capital was called Sukhothai and is still revered as the birthplace of Thai culture by Thais today.

The period after Sukhothai is known as ‘Ayutthaya’. Because of the increased population, the government was more complicated throughout this period. The king, as the country’s leader, continued to exist. Thonburi became Thailand’s new capital, but it lasted only 15 years. The capital city after that was Rattanakosin. Absolutism was the way of governance at the outset of the period.

Thailand has historical significance and is noted for its ancient ruins and magnificent views. The usual Thailand destinations—Bangkok, Phuket & Pattaya, are without a doubt fascinating and will inevitably be on your to-visit list. Here are a few other places you can visit while in Thailand to get to truly appreciate the Thai culture, landscapes and ethos of the place.

The best part is you can go exploring Thailand backpacking on a tight budget or you can indulge in a luxurious jaunt if you prefer it that way. Get in touch with Aertrip for customised holiday packages.

This place offers you the time of your life, from resorts to delicious food to stunning views and distinctive limestone cliffs to add to the pizzazz.

The best time to visit Railay Beach is from November to March, when the weather is comfortable, unlike other months, when it is sweltering and humid or wet; thus, avoid visiting Railay during these months.
